The University Center (UCB 202), 805 Campus Drive, Big Rapids, Michigan, 49307, United States.

The College of Business Committee on Inclusion is hosting a free event Thursday, September 19th, 2019, titled “The Multigenerational Workplace”, which is the fourth in its Conversation on Inclusion series.  Students who attend will be able to listen to the experiences of three successful business executives representing different generations—Millenial, GenX, and Baby Boomer.  Of course, each speaker has a distinct background, and their stories add to our understanding of changing social attitudes towards different age groups who work together in the work force.  This is an excellent opportunity to participate in an event that is directly related to your future as a business professional.

A social hour will be held before the event, starting at 5.30 p.m.  Students are encouraged to bring their resumes and meet with speakers during the breakout session and social hour.  The Multigenerational Workforce will start promptly at 6:00 p.m., and will last until approximately 7:30 p.m.

John Kinuthia

The event is organized by the College of Business' Committee on Inclusion at Ferris State University. The Committee on Inclusion is guided by the following mission statement: "The committee on inclusion of the College of Business will serve as a focal point for faculty to ensure that the entire community of the College of Business builds a foundation where diversity of culture, thought and expression are valued, respected and cultivated. We will serve as a resource for our college community by providing information, advocacy, coordination and support for diversity-related events, activities and initiatives."
