The Tellico Plains Merchants Association invites you join us in our beautiful historic downtown to celebrate the harvest season with a chili cook off! Come sample the many different chilis we'll be preparing ourselves, as well as pumpkin pies baked by our local church members.

Benchmark Physical Therapy will host a kids corner with games and face painting and raffle off a quilt. Picnic tables provided by Mecca Camp Resort. And many other goods and services will be donated by local business owners.

Perry and Diana Brake will play live music, and half of the proceeds will go to JAM, a non-profit run by the Brakes to teach children traditional Appalachian music at no cost.

So, stop on by for an afternoon of fun and food! Stroll around town, do some early Christmas shopping, play a few games, and enjoy a warm bowl of chili as you listen to some traditional Appalachian music.

Bowls are $5 for unlimited sampling as long as the chili lasts.
