TEFAF Coffee Talk - Drawing the World: Exploring the Unfamiliar
Drawing is a vigorous and ever-changing practice, which artists have explored in both theory and practice for centuries. Today, drawing is being redefined outside the familiar - in unexpected formats and disciplines - by artists and institutions invested in exploring its function in the contemporary world. This panel brings us closer to their work with examples from exhibitions at The Drawing Center and the Whitney, and a consideration of the way in which drawing is classified and defined at these preeminent institutions.
