Best Practices in Network Design and Planning is a part of Tech Talk Live.

Michael D. Carey, Director of Operations with KINBER, will provide an overview on KINBER's Research & Education Network, PennREN. His discussion will focus on some best practices regarding optical solutions, delivering services, monitoring, and operational support. Attendees will learn how the network was built, how it has grown through subsequent network designs and customer on-boarding, and how the network is supported. Attendees will be able to take some of the best practices discussed and relate them to enhancing their own network. This session will be streamed for free to all higher ed users registering with an .edu email address.

Deadline for registration is April 30, 2017.
