RISE is seeking 20 candidates to participate in our pilot Teacher Certification Cohort. The cohort includes a full year of certification support (includes INTENSIVE preparation during the summer) with a goal of full licensure by June 2019. We will provide a customized tutorial schedule to meet your academic needs, test preparation supplies, and some financial support for testing fees. 

Candidate Requirements

  •  Professional, Personable & Passionate about Children
  • Bachelor’s degree completed by December 2018
  • 17 or above on ACT OR Within 10pts of passing Praxis Core in ALL areas OR Passed 2 of the 3 areas of Praxis Core 
  • Willing to work in any of the (3) school districts in Coahoma County for 2018-2019 school year 
  • Dedicated to getting certified!

 

Interviews - June 13th and 14th 

Preparation begins June 18th!
