Shannon Lynnette
Manager Tasting Room & Hospitality, Co-Owner at Burning Beard Brewing Co.

Beer is something to be reveled in, to be celebrated, to be exalted. This declarative is something that Shannon has spent the better part of her adult life cultivating. Beginning her sojourn into the realm of San Diego Craft Beer in 2013, she began slinging pints for the hordes of experienced and neophyte beer drinkers at AleSmith Brewing Company. Aching to learn more about the production side she and took on weekend cellar work and bridging the gap between the front and back of the house, was able to carve a niche for Beer Education and Training. In search of a smaller Tasting Room, she left AleSmith at the beginning of 2016 and happened into a small, unofficially opened, brewery in El Cajon. Smitten with the roar of the jukebox, the motzy of the beer, and the ethos of the owners, she found her new home at Burning Beard Brewing Company in March of 2016. As is typical with most small breweries, her duties have run the gamut of Tasting Room Manager, Event Coordinator, Sales & Distro, Merchandising, Keg Slinger, a myriad of cleaning duties, and sandwich maker. Devoutly dedicated to not just the production but curation of the craft, she refuses to the leave this realm stagnated by antiquated ideas of service.

Dylan Brown
Brand Ambassador and Beertender

Dylan's Bio A San Diego native Dylan Brown started his craft beer journey at the small, but ever-popular Alpine Beer Company in 2008. A family friendship and a growing popularity lead to a part-time position spread between front, and back of house that included everything from labeling bottles and peeling oranges, to serving pints, samples, and all around good cheer at the original Alpine Beer Pub location. By 2014 that part time position had made the jump to full time, mostly spent at the former Alpine Beer tasting room inside the brewery. The purchase of Alpine by Green Flash in late 2014 came with an updated pub and tasting room, a managerial position, and his first (and only) commercial brew, "Wendy Peppercorn". A personal friendship with Shannon Lynette, and a budding opportunity at a small up-and-coming family owned and operated brewery lead him to Burning Beard Brewing in 2018, where his current position includes Beertending, Local Sales, and Brand Ambassador. His tenure in the industry, along with a passion for education, professionalism, and personal connection, along with his own particular brand of banter, has lead Dylan to become one of East County San Diego's most recognizable beertenders
