Presentation Overview:

Introduction of very compact diaphragm wall cutters to create space below existing infrastructure:

  • underground water reservoirs to store and treat stormwater and run-off
  • space for new metro stations, high-speed train stations or other terminals
  • surface applications for cut-off walls, highway enclosures, below bridges and others
  • for hydrogen deposits, power banks, national security, civil defense and material deposits
  • invisible (nuclear) power plants, nuclear waste disposal and more

 

Speaker Bio:

Manfred Stiglmayr has been working with BAUER Maschinen since 2019, mostly on global Water, Energy and Mining projects and Business Development activities where he is introducing the latest technical developments to customers and stakeholders. Before BAUER, Manfred was globally active for many years with CATERPILLAR Inc. He will present one of the recent developments for underground space construction below existing infrastructure for applications which need special protection such as critical public infrastructure.
