Sustainable Core

Strength work is critical for the longevity of a healthy body, but it is sometimes hard to do on our own. In this functional strength class you don't have to think about the number of reps or the next exercise, just show up ready to work and 45 minutes later you will feel GREAT! This is a full-body workout using bodyweight with the assistance of bands, balls and TRX. We will focus on mobility, balance and strength and all exercises can be adapted to one's ability.

Class takes place at Fleet Feet Sports, 309 Marginal Way, Portland. This 10 week class starts Monday, Jan. 8th and meets every Monday and Thursday at Noon.

*(No Class MLK, Off Feb. 19th and 22nd (Break)) Last Class March 26th.
The class is led by Sustainable Athlete Coach Sarah Russell who recently returned from 2 years in Spain where she trained all levels of runners and triathletes. Sarah is a world-class competitive triathlete who understands that strength work is a critical component to an endurance athlete's training and success. In class she will meet you at your level of comfort and adapt all exercises to one's ability.
