The Survivors Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that was founded by Jim Ginnetti, a Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia) survivor. Having been through chemotherapy and life-saving treatments himself, he has experienced first-hand the significant toll a cancer diagnosis can take on various aspects of your life.He decided he wanted to give back and help others that are unfortunately experiencing the same disease, and sometimes debilitating side effects physically and emotionally. The Survivors Cancer Foundation raises funds and directly donates them to local cancer patients and their families that are in our community. We offer more than financial support; we will go sit with a patient during treatment if they need company or don’t want to be alone, provide transportation to/from treatment, provide lodging close to their hospital or treatment facility, provide emotional & peer support, supply them with food and set them up with meals so they have one less thing to worry about while dealing with everything else. Whatever they need, we are here to help.
