Twice exceptonal children  bring great joy and pose some unique challenges for caregivers and teachers. Often what they can do so easily feels at odds with the things that can be so hard.  How do we understand and serve children who has significant strengths and real challenges? Please join us for a brief presentation and a discussion with Laura Bahr and Mia Klinger.

Laura Bahr has worked with twice-exceptional students for over a decade, teaching everything from mathematics to vocal performance. After developing and implementing the Bridges Ecpert Program, a flagship program for 2e high school students, Laura relocated to the East Coast. She is currently the educational content director for New England Primate Conservancy and author of a 5-part project-based learning curriculum around the appreciation of insect biodiversity with support from National Geographic.

Mia Klinger is a career special educator and the co-founder and director of Daybreak, a Cambridge-based program for children impacted by trauma or disability that affects their social, emotional, or behavioral success.

Zoom link will be sent following registration.  We look forward to seeing you.

There is no charge for this event.
