Sunny Days Art Club; Mondays (2-5)

This class offers an array of age appropriate art skills building and materials exploration through hands-on projects. Meg Sandine has taught art for twenty-five years in school settings. Her approach of gentle encouragement with plenty of support brings out the creative spirit in even the shyest of young artists.

Some lesson examples:

• Drawing and painting from life, Spring Flowers. Drawing with ink and watercolor painting.
• Wooden Spoon Puppets: figure studies with an emphasis on proportion. Students design and create 3D usable puppets.
• Animal Studies: what do animals really look like? And how to draw them.
