Fairfield University Field Hockey is excited to host Invasion Field Hockey Camps this summer! Starting in July, daily training sessions will be available and will be following all Connecticut COVID-19 Safety Guidelines, Fairfield University protocols and NCAA regulations. Our Return to Play procedures will include:

  • Limited session enrollment of 60 players

  • Daily groups of 10-14 athletes staying with the same coaches for the session

  • Screening policy to confirm no symptoms of COVID-19 before daily participation

  • Frequent cleaning of equipment before and after training sessions

  • Athletes using their own water bottles and personal hygiene products

  • Clearly identifiable entry and exit points to maintain social distancing

    Please note that the NCAA has extended the recruiting Dead Period through August 31, 2020.  That means that High School players entering grades 10-12 in the fall are not permitted to attend camp at Fairfield Univerity in order to maintain their eligibility.

    AM Sessions - $145 a session

    PM Sessions - $195 a session

     

    Invasion Field Hockey is excited to be able to offer a safe and engaging environment for our athletes.  All Sessions will focus on the fundamentals, individual stickwork and mini-games to grow their passion for the game and lay the foundation for higher level of play. Participants will receive individualized instruction from our nationally-ranked Fairfield Coaching Staff and athletes, as well as other college coaches. Like you, we have been quarantined and social distancing and are just as excited to get back on the field. Our staff is dedicated to help our participants improve their game while maintaining strict safety procedures to keep everybody healthy on our turf. 

    If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please note that registration is only open to 30 participants per session. A Wait List will be created if necessary. Looking forward to seeing you on the field!

Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel, please inform Coach Kane at jkane@fairfield.edu for a refund. This will also allow us to remove a participant from the Waiting List. 

Dani Brown

In 2019 Fairfield Field Hockey was ranked #24 in the country had its best season in program history. The team finished with the second-best Division 1 record at 19-3. They were undefeated in the NorthEast Conference and were named NEC Champions, awarding them entry into the NCAA tournament. In their first-ever home NCAA game, the Stags defeated American and went on to take #2 UConn to overtime. Head coach Jackie Kane, in her 25th season, and her staff were named NEC and Mideast Regional Coaching Staff of the Year and several players took home NEC and All-American honors.
