The Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (SAPST) training is designed to provide an understanding of the discipline of the prevention of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse as it relates to communities, providers and volunteers, in a fun, creative unique training that begins where people are at, and which includes application. On-line pre-work is required to complete the training.
Note: This is a four day class. All four days must be attended/completed to receive the Certificate of Attendance. No partial credit is provided.
Class size is limited: 25 individuals.
28 Prevention CEU hours have been approved for this course.
Note: Pre-work is required for this course. Prevention CEU hours are available upon completion of the pre-work.
NOTE: Walk-in registrations the day of the workshop cannot be accomodated, since materials will not have been prepared nor catering ordered.
