Wednesday, 14 April 2021 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM EDT

This session enables a community to develop SEL in a responsible and inclusive manner. Only then can SEL become a tool to deepen one's connection to their own culture and to build bridges between communities.

All educators, whether a teacher, support staff, mental health professional, administrator or district support, are invited. Join us to internalize how SEL and culturally responsive frameworks reinforce each other in service of concrete application so our students feel seen and safe to deepen skills with us.

Participants will be able to:

  • Understand what culturally responsive SEL is
  • Apply key principles of culturally responsive SEL to their own practice and community
