The Federation of Families of SC and Youth Move SC invite you to join us for our very special Student-Directed IEP Training on Monday, December 18th and Tuesday, December 19th in Columbia, SC. This dynamic two-day training session is exclusively for middle school and high school students who have an IEP and want to learn how to feel prepared to lead their own meetings.
Youth will identify their own strengths and opportunities for growth. Students in attendance will construct their own goals and a plan to effectiviely attain them while considering obstacles to those goals and how best to deal with setbacks. Students will be able to effectively communicate these goals to various attendees in a clear and respectable manner. Structured activities will be available for siblings ages 6 and older.
