Kass Nethercott is the owner of Between Friends - An Early Learning Community located in Fayetteville, NY and has worked in early child care for the last 20 years.  Her program focuses on the importance of having children in the outdoors and their learning should primarily be done through unstructured play.

With the push for academics becoming more engrossed in early childhood programs, the outdoors and unstructured free play that children once enjoyed is becoming obsolete.  This workshop will look at ways to incorporate the outdoors and play back into your classrooms while giving the opportunities for children to learn both cognitively and emotionally.
