The Star Gold Coast (Event Centre), 1 Casino Drive, Broadbeach, Broadbeach, QLD, 4218, Australia.

Women in Gaming Australasia invites you to join us for our Gold Coast Step Forward Event - Influence Your Career, hosted by The Star Gold Coast on Tuesday 11 June.

Taking the next step in your career can be daunting but waving a wand won’t make a dream opportunity magically appear. It takes asking for what you want and being bold.

This interactive session will explore confidence, courage and influencing. You will learn to identify your “bold ask,” the key people you need to influence, and the strategies and techniques needed to gain commitment from others. You will also learn how to influence even your most sceptical stakeholders.

This session will also help organisations to cultivate leaders who can effectively influence others to take actions that align with strategic goals.

The professional development session will be followed by a fireside chat. Hear from a guest speaker on how they influenced their career in the most significant way and the impact it had on them, both professionally and personally.

This event is free to attend, and there will be an opportunity to network with other attendees over drinks and canapés.

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in advancing their career or assisting women in advancing their careers in the gaming and hospitality industries. We encourage gender balance at our events and we acknowledge that men are critical in producing equitable outcomes for women. We strongly encourage senior leaders to attend and demonstrate their support.
