St. Joseph: A Model for our Times (via ZOOM)
Who is St. Joseph and how can his faithful witness bring us inspiration today?
Pope Francis has proclaimed a special “Year of St. Joseph,” beginning on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception 2020 and extending to the same feast in 2021. He wrote: “Each of us can discover in Joseph-- the man who goes unnoticed, a daily, discreet and hidden presence—an intercessor, a support and a guide in times of trouble.” God’s providence saw the role of St. Joseph as essential to his plan for our salvation—the Incarnation of his only Son. This conference will offer reflections on St. Joseph as a model of obedience, fidelity and holiness, and will include fresh insights into his vocation as Virginal Father and Virginal Husband.
