With an increasing number of elite athletes claiming to follow a vegan or plant-based diet, one can ask if this is the key to high-performance. What does science say about it? This presentation will provide practical tips on how to eat more plant-based while sharing important nutrition considerations for health and performance.
Sport Dietitian Genevieve Masson enjoys helping the athletes perform at their best thru nutrition. In her work at Canadian Sport Institute Pacific, she supports elite athletes from a variety of sports such as freestyle skiing, ski cross, snowboarding, luge, cross-country skiing, biathlon, wrestling and softball.
