One of the best ways to learn in sport is to hear the stories and lessons from the athletes that came before. Caileigh Filmer is a member of Canada's national rowing team and is fresh off capturing the world title in the heavyweight women's pair event at the 2018 World Rowing Championships. Caileigh has spent time in an American collegiate program (Cal Berkeley), University of Victoria's rowing program and is now a student/athlete with Uvic/National Rowing Training Center. As a result, Caileigh has learned a great deal about environments and how they shape the athlete and the course she is on. Caileigh is also an Olympian from the 2016 Rio Games, having raced in the heavyweight women's eight.

Join us October 10th at 6pm to hear anecdotes and personal points of view from an athlete that went as far as she could go in her sport and hear how different types of daily training environments play different roles in success.

Do not miss this chance to learn from a very real experience!
