You're Invited to Spend the Day with the CA
Who: The Cantors Assembly (CA), established in 1947, supports nearly 600 dedicated, talented and creative Hazzanim, as well as the congregations they serve. These profesionals function as vital clergy and musical leaders throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Israel.
What: For more than 70 years the CA has held an annual convention for its membership during which Cantors come together to sing, share music, engage in prayer, listen to fascinating speakers, learn from one another, attend meetings, participate in workshops and enjoy the camaraderie of colleagues. The music presented extends well beyond Cantorial to include Israeli, Yiddish, Folk, the Great American Songbook and Contemporay Pop. Wherever and whenever Cantors gather, a good time is had by all.
Why: We wish to open our doors, sharing our songs and hearts, with the constituencies we serve. By joining with well over 200 Cantors, you will have the opportunity to celebrate, learn and be uplifted by some of the most engaging leaders in the Jewish world today. As a CA convention delegate for a day, we promise a once in a lifetime experience as you will be enthralled by an array of presentations, musical and spoken, while interacting with Cantors from throughout the world.
