About the Event

This year, from October 16th through October 18th, food safety professionals will gather in historic Charleston, South Carolina to discuss a variety of topics at the annual 2018 FDA Southeast Regional Seminar. This is a great opportunity for regulatory and industry professionals alike to meet, mingle, and hear from FDA Officials on a variety of food-related issues. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at

Charleston is rated the nation's No.1 city, and No.2 in the world, according to the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine. One of the reasons why our city is so special is its food culture. As the home of shrimp and grits, oysters, frogmore stew, and BBQ, Charleston has a lot going for it. The city was also home to America's first public college, the first museum, and the first playhouse. Remember the movie Swamp Thing? That was filmed here. What about The Notebook or Full Metal Jacket? Those were too. And of course, the tear jerker, Prince of Tides. Our city is so awesome, the famous, such as Bill Murray, Darius Rucker, and Stephen Colbert, even call it home. We look forward to seeing you in Charleston - where history loves company.
