The SONS OF KENPO/KEMPO event celebrates Kenpo/Kempo's heritage from the Hawaiian Islands to the USA mainland. Kenpo/Kempo Art Styles that originated in both locations will be taught be their respective Successors/Seniors. There will be a Celebration Dinner that evening paying respects to those Art Styles in Kenpo/Kempo that have been spread throughout the decades.

The Go Shin Jitsu Kenpo/Chinese Kempo Kai organization is the direct lineage of, and the direct teachings of, GGM William K.S. Chow, and his protégé/Successor, GM Bill Chun, Sr. The GSJK/CKK's present-day Successor is Sifu BIll Chun, Jr. It is Sifu Chun, Jr's vision to have Kenpo/Kempo united and celebrating their Hawaiian Roots and Heritage. Thus, the inspiration for the SONS of KENPO/KEMPO event.
