Please join us for Hearthstone's Solo Parents of Older Kiddos Support Group!
Members may be expecting a baby through fostering, adoption, surrogacy or pregnancy, or they may already have their kiddos at home. (Most members in this group have older infants and toddlers/preschoolers, but all are welcome; those who are expecting or newly postpartum mostly choose the Saturday AM group.) Babies and young children are welcome; we expect this to be a bit chaotic, will use mute strategically, and do what you need to take care of your kiddos while connecting with other SMCs. We'll talk about all the realities of expecting and parenting as solo parents, including both the technical/logistical aspects and the emotional/social. This is a special group, and I hope you'll join us!
Please note that each series includes six sessions, which meet every other week (unless the schedule is shifted to accommodate holidays, member or facilitator unavailability, etc.). A series in total lasts the course of three months. The registration program will place the group on the first date only, but the fee covers all dates listed in the heading above.
Cancellation policy Please note that this is a small group event, and every member is valued. It is common for members to miss 1-2 sessions due to work, illness, travel, etc., but if you discover that you are unable to attend the full series for any reason, please contact me asap as this may affect the balance and timing of the series. Refunds are available up to two weeks before we begin; once we are within that two week window fees are non-refundable (but may be transferable to another series). Exceptions may be made if I have to delay or change dates or in the case of a family emergency, but it is requested and much appreciated that each member track how the dates of the series will work for you and to communicate with me promptly if issues arise.
