The Chesapeake Solar and Storage Association (CHESSA) is a trade association representing over 130 member companies who are responsible for driving economic growth throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Our industry experts serve as leaders in the renewable energy transition, building a more sustainable future through innovation, fair competition, and improved access to family-supporting jobs.
We represent all segments of the solar and energy storage industry at the state and local level through engagement with policymakers, regulators, and elected officials. Our members design, sell, integrate, install, maintain, and finance solar energy equipment throughout the region. Among our ranks are the accountants, attorneys, builders, architects, electricians, developers, and consultants who form the foundation of our industry. Our mission is simple: to ensure that our region remains fertile ground for renewable energy and all the benefits it brings to our communities.
