WHAT IS THE SOCIAL IMPACT LAUNCH LAB?
The Social Impact Launch Lab is a 2-day, immersive in-person workshop series that gives smart, passionate, early-stage (under 3-years) social change leaders the personal and organizational tools to build the strongest foundation for a high-impact organization.
Whether you want to develop a solid fundraising plan, begin to professionalize your board of directors, or develop a strategic vision to guide your organization, the Social Impact Launch Lab will help you get started the right way. If you are in the first 3 years of running your organization, the Launch Lab is designed to help you begin to formalize your processes, learn best practices for growth, and strengthen your core infrastructure so that your organization can run smoothly, grow quickly, and maximize its impact.
HOW DOES THE SOCIAL CHANGE LAUNCH LAB WORK?
The Launch Lab takes place over the course of two full days. The workshop is focused on the five areas that are core to building a strong foundation and early-stage infrastructure:

Telling your story,

Strategic visioning (as distinct from strategic planning),

Fundraising planning,
-
Building and working with a Board of Directors, and
-
Building your capacity as a leader.
The workshops consist of a combination of skill-building activities, small group discussions, speaker presentations, peer-based Mastermind sessions, and personal reflection and work time.
You'll also receive extensive resources - such as model templates, resource lists, checklists and guided worksheets -- all aimed at making sure that you can take action on the lessons and strategies learned! Plus, you’re a Launch Labber for life. You can access our online members-only portal for free any time you want, indefinitely.

WHO IS THIS FOR?
Action-oriented, ambitious beginners who want to start out on the right foot.
Founders of social change organizations who are within their first 3 years of building their organizations, and who want to begin to formalize their processes, learn best practices for growth, and strengthen their fundraising, communications, strategic thinking, and leadership skills are ideal for the Launch Lab.
BEFORE THE LAUNCH LAB
You will receive a list of materials to gather and questions to consider so that you can come prepared to get the most out of this immersive workshop and hit the ground running afterwards.
THE WORKSHOP ITSELF
This workshop is casual and immersive. Wear comfortable clothes. Notebooks, pens, and other note-taking and recording tools will be provided. We’ll serve breakfast and you’ll be on your own for lunch.
