About the Event

Join DSG to gain a better understanding of what successful students with Down Syndrome have in common. Your attendance will help you send your child off to the first day of Kindergarten with excitement instead of trepidation. You will be able to ask questions, learn about local resources, and meet other parents whose children are also preparing to enter kindergarten. This is session 4 of 4. Be sure to sign up for all 4 sessions. 

Session 4 will cover the following topics:

Creating social opportunities

Successful play dates

Extra-curricular activities

Community activities

About the Organizer

The Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide support and resources for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the professionals who serve them. DSG seeks to provide the entire community with information and education to broaden awareness and foster positive attitudes regarding people with Down syndrome
