Learning Objectives: •Identify indications, contraindications and possible complications of central venous catheter insertion. •Be able to demonstrate sterile technique. •Be able to demonstrate internal jugular vein central venous catheter insertion under ultrasound guidance on a manikin.
Learning Objectives: •Review anatomy of the lung and pleura using ultrasound • Understand the indications, benefits, and limitations of lung ultrasound •Understand the spectrum of typical findings (i.e. artifacts) when using lung ultrasound • Learn a standard ultrasound lung assessment with hands-on practice in the simulation lab
