The SHM Arizona Chapter will be hosting an in person event on Saturday, January 20th at 8:00 a.m. MT at The Henry in Phoenix, AZ. Please join the chapter for networking and for an educational presentation titled "Addiction Medicine for the Hospitalist," provided by Dr. Robert Kirchoff.
Objectives:
- To educate hospitalists on addiction medicine and opioid use disorder (OUD)
- To discuss various models to expand hospital-based OUD treatment
- To identify opportunities to implement change within your institution
The Society of Hospital Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Society of Hospital Medicine designates this in-person activity for a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
