Based on the internationally acclaimed research of Dr. John Gottman as presented in his New York Times bestselling book The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, this class is designed to teach couples the skills to deepen their intimacy, manage conflict effectively, improve their communication and strengthen their friendship. 

Class Details:The class meets once a week for six weeks starting Tuesday October 23, 2018 and ending Tuesday November 27, 2018. The price per couple is $400, (early bird rate of $375 if you register before 9/15/18) which includes the six week class, two workbooks, and the book The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, by Dr. John Gottman. The class consists of a mixture of interactive lecture, video clips, and fun private couple exercises. This is a psycho-educational format, not group therapy. Participants will not share their personal problems in front of others. Class size is limited to 15 couples. 

Cancellation policy

Cancellation policy: If registration is cancelled 2 weeks or more before the first class, a refund minus $50 processing fee will be given. If registration is cancelled within two weeks of the first class, no refund is given, however the registration can be transferred to a future class.

Peg Davies, MS, LMFT is a Certified Gottman Therapist, Master Trainer of the Gottman Method, Certified Gottman Workshop Leader, and Clinical Fellow of the AAMFT. Peg has been a Certified Gottman Therapist for the past 15 years and regularly trains clinicians and assists couples at the popular Art of Science and Love workshops hosted by John and Julie Gottman in Seattle. She is excited to offer this class to couples who want to learn valuable skills to improve their relationships. She is truly passionate about helping couples to establish a secure and loving relationship that will last them a lifetime. Peg is in private practice in Bellingham, WA.
