"Foundations of OST and Setting Expectations”

Whether you are a veteran OST professional or new to the field, understanding the research and fundamentals of high quality OST programs is essential. In this session participants will:

·        Learn the core research about OST and its impact on learning and development

·        Be introduced to the key local organizations, resources and potential partners

·        Review safety plans and FERPA guidelines

·        Develop strategies to set expectations for your OST program to ensure successful learning for students

·        Set behavioral expectations for students that align with quality standards for OST
