Join CASA for the "Impact of Legalization of Marijuana in Indiana/Lessons Learned from Colorado" training brought to you by Dale D. Quigley, NMI Deputy Coordinator, HIDTA Program. Lunch will be provided at the event!

Training Description:

After Colorado legalized marijuana for both “medical” and commercial purposes it continues to have numerous adverse consequences. An awareness of the evolving data from Colorado can be used as a predictive analysis tool locally; if it happened there, could it happen here? This presentation offers the facts concerning the consequences of making marijuana legal.

Training Objectives:

  • How the impacts of legal marijuana experienced in Colorado can be used as a predictive analysis tool elsewhere
  • Marijuana’s adverse impacts due to increased THC potency levels
  • The implications legalized marijuana has on public health & public safety concerns
