This half-day course will equip primary school leaders with the skills and knowledge to enable you to prepare your school or academy for an inspection based on the new Education Inspection Framework, 2022 and the revised handbooks in place from September 2022. It will also look at how schools will be assessed following the Covid-19 pandemic.
The main changes will be discussed and latest messages from Ofsted will be incorporated into the training.
You will gain an understanding of the latest inspection process, which will enable you to plan for and manage an inspection within your setting.

The ‘big picture’ of inspection and the importance of self-evaluation procedures;

The information (including the curriculum and the three ‘I’s) that inspectors use to gain an understanding of the quality of education provided by the school;

The development of hypotheses and evidence trails and how this can support improvements in your own school or academy.
