SCC March 14th Bugatti Tour

Bugatti Tour

Alan Travis has agreed for up to 35 people attending a 2 hour presentation and tour of his Bugatti garage.  We will meet for lunch at BJ Brewhouse and restaurant, 21001 N Tatum Blvd. Phoenix at 11:30am on Saturday March 9th.  At approximately 1pm we will caravan to Alans home, his Bugatti Garage is on this property.  The tour/presentation will start at 1:30 and last approx 1.5 to 2.0 hours.  Everyone will leave on their own afterwards.  The tour and presentation are free, lunch cost is of course up to the individual.  I have reserved 30 seats at BJ and told them we want separate checks.

Alan has 18 Bugatti's ranging in model years from 1897 to 1915.  What makes Alan's cars different than most is all are in running and driving condition and in fact are driven regularly. He has several one of a kind cars.

Alan has participated in several cross country vintage car races with his Bugatti's and won at least twice.  He has been featured on Jay Leno's Garage several times.  You can view those episodes at U Tube and search for Jay Leno with Alan Travis.  Watching these you will see how advanced Bugatti was for the time.
