PHOENIX ART MUSEUM

This event has appeal for both race car enthusiasts and those who appreciate great art! On February 8, 2020 we will be going to the Phoenix Art Museum for the Legends of Speed exhibition (after all, we are a Car Club), which will allow you to experience the "art" of racing, showcasing 22 iconic automobiles by Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Alfa Romeo, Ford and more. The landmark exhibition features cars driven by some of history's greatest drivers, including A.j. Foyt, Dan Gurney, Sterling Moss, and Mario Andretti.

If you don't like race cars, you can walk the Museum and view art from some of the great masters, or browse through the impressive collection of world famous cowboy art. OR YOU CAN DO BOTH! The cost for entry to the Museum is $23 per person,  payable at the door-----no cost if you are a Phoenix Art Museum member. Please register for the event so that we know how many people will be attending, as the Museum will provide one docent for the Legends of Speed exhibit for every 15 members attending (2 for 30, 3 for 45, etc). The Legends of Speed exhibit will take about 45 minutes to go through, and you can spend additional time going through the art exhibits at the Museum. Spend as much time as you'd like at the Museum, as Lunch will be on your own afterwards. 

We will meet at  the Starbucks parking lot at the Pavillions Shopping Center, located off Indian Bend Road and the Loop 101 at 9:15 a.m. and caravan to the Museum promptly at 9:30 a.m. This should be an interesting mix of art and race cars. Hope you will join us!
