SCC Chinese New Year Dinner

Please join us for the SCC’s first Ethnic Dinner in 2020 for an amazing time to gather together and enjoy a delicious way of celebration. It will be the year 4717 in the Chinese calendar and will be the year of the Rat in the Chinese Zodiac. And, this year, we will be celebrating on the actual day of Chinese New Year, January 25th.
Due to your tremendous response and multiple requests to repeat this special dinner, we will be be providing all the delicacies from the land, air and sea for your enjoyment along with some great vegetable dishes for you to experience. How special will this meal be? You will be starting with appetizers and a Chinese tour de cuisine of separate, as well as combinations, of shrimp, scallops, steak, noodles, fresh fish, duck, pork and different vegetable dishes. You will finally end this meal with unique deserts.
We will experience sixteen dishes....Yes, again – 16. And we were able to secure the closed, private room for this event. Why is this private room even more spectacular? Since this is a closed private party, it will also be BYOB (all the wine and beer you want to bring and/or share … no hard stuff). All attendees must be of legal drinking age.
And the best news? This private, closed room event with BYOB will only be $47 per person. No, I did not miss-type. $47 dollars per person is inclusive of all taxes, gratuity, corking fees and …. did I mention … a sixteen course meal.

There will also be a separate parking next to the strip mall where all of us can secure our Corvettes. A map of the Plaza and parking will be distributed to those who will be lucky enough to attend.
Last year, this event almost sold out within the first 90 minutes. At that time, I was able to increase the number of Membership able to attend. This year, however, there will be no way possible to expand due to this event being held on actual Chinese New Year day. The restaurant is expected to be packed and further event expansion will not be possible.
We will be accepting registrations for 1 or 2 people. If we end up with an odd number, we will have to find one more registrant, or refund the last individual registration due to the “filling all seats at each table” requirement of this venue.
If registrations are sold out, please sign up on the waiting list. Registration closes midnight, January 15th. No refunds can be made after this date, as funds will have been committed.
