The Mentoring Awareness Session

Mowgli will be facilitating this Mentoring Awareness Session in Beirut to raise awareness about mentoring, its true meaning and how it can enhance your leadership skills.

The session will discuss and explain the value of mentoring in empowering Syrian refugee and Lebanese micro-entrepreneurs, driving integration and cohesion between host and refugee communities as well as its role in supporting their social and economic development.

The session will provide clarity around the differences between mentoring, coaching, training and consulting as well as the importance, benefits and impact of mentoring for mentors and mentees, while providing clear information on this mentoring program, its benefits, commitment requirements, and more.

About the Program: The SANAD Fund for MSME, through the Technical Assistance Facility (TA Facility) has partnered with Mowgli Mentoring to deliver a 9-month mentoring program aimed at enhancing the lives of Syrian refugee and Lebanese micro-entrepreneurs, enabling them to develop sustainable income that will contribute towards the social and economic develop of Lebanon and further facilitate the assimilation of Syrian refugees into Lebanese society.

Through this 9-month program, we’re looking to train and capacity build 15 mentors based in Lebanon who will support the personal and professional development of this program’s beneficiaries to unlock their potential and become more resilient entrepreneurs who can drive greater business growth.

This program will be delivered in partnership with Al Majmoua and Ibdaa Micro-finance institutions.
