Please join us at the Holiday Inn and Suites, Downtown Duluth, on May 17th from 9:30-11:30 a.m. for a special presentation from Sean Kershaw, Executive Director of the Citizens League, followed by an orientation to the Rural Aging Initiative capacity building program.

CONVERSATIONS ABOUT AGING AND HOUSING - 9:30-11:30AM
"Aging” is in many ways the most challenging and misunderstood long-term policy issue right now. But, it is also one that is full of possibilities for doing policy differently and better. Join the Citizens League for an interactive conversation that includes the data on aging trends, and, more importantly, what they are doing about it through their “Calling Home” project. What have they learned so far by involving a diverse group of stakeholders in issues related to aging, and how will it help inform their next steps? Please join us for this program and discussion with Sean Kershaw, Executive Director of the Citizens League.

We will also orient you to the next phase of capacity-building work as part of the Rural Aging Initiative. You will learn about and help shape this program that will involved training, peer learning, and grant opportunities.
