Join us for the annual New York Road Runner (NYRR) Dash to the Finish Line race on 2 November and run from United Nations Headquarters to the NYC Marathon finish line in Central Park.

* We will get together at 8:00 am and take group photos. The 2019 USATF 5K Championships featuring Team USA Olympians and national record-holders will start at 8:30 am at the same location, 15 minutes prior to the start of the Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5K.

HOW:
Step 1 (now): Sign up for the NYRR Dash to the Finish Line 5K - choose “unattached” as your Team Affiliation.
Step 2 (now): Sign-up with us to receive your Team UN t-shirt. NYRR registration confirmation is required.
Step 3 (in October): Pick up your Team UN t-shirt and get running! Please note that Team UN t-shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis and your preferred size can’t be guaranteed.
This year, Team UN will run for Climate Action: A Race We Can. Climate change is now affecting every country on every continent and is disrupting national economies, affecting lives, costing people, communities and countries dearly today and even more tomorrow.

Not a runner? Walking to the finish line is just as fun. Invite your colleagues, family, and friends - all are welcome.
Last year, a total of 10,859 runners braved a cold Saturday morning and dashed through Midtown Manhattan at the Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5K race. Of those runners, 400 UN staff, interns, ambassadors and delegates participated in the race, promoting the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
