Join professional photographers, Huoy Chen and Meredith McKee Ruth as they unpack the mysteries behind rocking your DSLR. We'll first share about how to find and identify light, discuss the key elements of understanding ISO, aperature, and shutterspeed, physically practice manipulating settings and shooting both indoors and out, and answer any questions you may have!
Gain confidence in navigating different lighting situations by understanding the relationship between your camera settings AND get hands on practice shooting in manual mode & learn to use light to your advantage!
Meredith McKee Ruth is a milestone photographer based in Seattle, WA, specializing in capturing the joy of life's most precious moments! She has been photographing weddings and families for over 10 years, and also has a Bachelors degree in Film Photography and Digital Media from The University of Virginia. In her free time, Meredith loves exploring the PNW with her husband, practicing yoga, and cuddling her pup, Lemon!
