How do I register?

Registration occurs at http://atlantameeting.eventzilla.net, there is no cost to register.  You are welcome to attend all or some of the sessions. DO NOT register through the Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association’s EXPO website. However, we would encourage you to check out the website to provide background on the EXPO: http://hpbexpo.com/

Where should I stay?

There is a block of rooms reserved at the Marriot Residence Inn Downtown Atlanta (134 Peachtree Street NW) at the federal government rate of $148/night, this rate is only valid until Wednesday, February 15.  You can access registration online at: http://www.marriott.com/meeting-event-hotels/group-corporate-travel/groupCorp.mi?resLinkData=FGE%20EPA%5Eatldt%60fgefgea%7Cfgefgeb%7Cfgefgec%60148.00%60USD%60false%603%602/28/17%603/4/17%602/7/17&app=resvlink&stop_mobi=yes   If you call the hotel directly, the group code is “FGE EPA”.  If you have any troubles booking a room, contact Amanda Britt with the Residence Inn at 404-522-0950.  We strongly encourage you to book your room right away even if your travel is uncertain as you can cancel your room up until 24 hours before check-in.

Transportation from the airport to the hotel:

MARTA: You can take Atlanta’s light rail system the MARTA directly from the airport and it will bring you essentially right to the Residence Inn, the following are detailed instructions for using MARTA. You can board the train inside the Airport – follow the signage going to Ground Transportation from baggage claim.  Just before you reach the doors going outside, look to your left if you’re coming from North Baggage Claim or right if you’re coming from South Baggage Claim. You will see the entrance for the Marta Train Station.  Choose the Northbound train towards Doraville. Stay on the train – do not get off or change – your stop will be the Peachtree Center stop – (N1) on the map  - This is a very large Marta Station that has several different exits to the street level.  You can end up blocks away from the hotel if you choose the wrong one – Ellis Street is the exit you are looking for.  When you exit the train onto the platform go LEFT looking for the Ellis Street Exit – it’s hard to see – it’s the last two escalators going up.  The signage will say to West Peachtree and Library on the next floor.  You will take another very long escalator up to Ellis Street.  Looking ahead and across the street to your right– you will see the hotel – Look for the burgundy canopy that says Residence Inn with a Valet podium on the sidewalk.

Uber/TaxiGPS address is: 123 Forsyth Street – Atlanta – 30303
