Imaginations run wild as children make toys, then play with them! From spinning tops to puzzle toys to creating and sharing their own board games complete with rules and goals, kids will discover what makes a toy fun, and use critical thinking to evaluate what “fun” means. Compare different kinds of play, does everyone have the same taste in toys? Find out! Children. explore shape, structure, and design in this class focusing on the science behind toys.

 

Tuesdays 2:15-3:15pm

4 Classes: 7/11-8/1

Room 201, Maximum 18 students

 

One scholarship (free tuition) will be offered once 5 students have enrolled in the class. Students receiving free or reduced rate school lunches are eligible. Please contact argonnease@gmail.com with the subject heading "ASE Scholarship" to apply. If there are multiple applicants, Ms Okubo will draw a name to determine the recipient.

 

Argonne PTO reserves the right to cancel the class if it does not reach minimum enrollment (payments will be refunded in full). No refunds after the first class.
