The RECON G6 Birthday Bash celebrates another great year of scale adventure with the RECON G6 Family & Friends. The Birthday Bash will be held at Warrior Point Park at Pyramid Lake, NV. This location boasts a wide variety of terrain. The rock itself has been called magical. Ranging from ancient tufa to decomposing granite to volcanic cobbles, a scale adventure driver will experience an adventure in terrain that can’t be found anywhere else.

There are some new RECON G6 classes & events for 2018. Making their debut at the 2017 RECON G6 Birthday Bash will be classes determined by tire height.

This is our annual Toy Drive that benefits the Washoe County Sheriff's “Christmas on the Corridor”. This helps inner city youth have a better Christmas. Bring a toy in it’s packaging for either a girl or boy and help us spread holiday cheer.

Birthday Bash RG6 Details

Location - Warriors Point Park Pyramid Lake, Nevada.

Date - December 1st - 3rd, 2017.

Itinerary - Friday - 12pm to 3pm - Tufa Trophy Challenge

                             4pm - Tekin Terracross

                 Saturday - 10am to 3pm RG6 Stages open

                                   4pm Award Ceremony / Raffle

                                   6pm Night Stage.

                  Sunday - 9am Cutthroat Classic Team Trial.

RECON G6 Classes -  RECON Rascals (Kids 3-6, 7-10, & 11-15)

                                     Adventurist 420, 470, 550 Classes

                                     Veteran 420, 470, 550 Classes

                                     Senior (Men 60 + )

                                     R.A.D. Class (Handicapable WC Class)

Note:  A driver can choose their class when they check in for the event.

Mandatory Scale Requirements

-A tow strap is mandatory and will be used during the stage.

-10 scale items are mandatory. A scale item can be a driver, bumpers, a pet, a spare tire, gauges, lights, bumper sticker, etc.

-a scale birthday hat attached to rig.

Not Mandatory, But Highly Recommended Requirements

• A scale “Cui ui” placed on rig.

• A scale 5 gallon bucket.

• A birthday themed ping pong ball that you turn in when you check in to participate in a special challenge.

• A wearable birthday hat.

Event Descriptions -

Tufa Trophy Challenge - A long, single stage adventure with several special scoring stages to test driver and machine. Here are the classes / descriptions for the Tufa Trophy Challenge.

• Togu - Any Hard Body scaler with a 4.2 maximum tire height.

• Togu XL - Any Lexan body scaler with a 4.7 maximum tire height.

Tekin Terracross - Natural terrain racing with classes for ALL to have fun in.

• Trail class  - Rock Racer - Rock Buggy - Go Phast

RECON G6 - Multiple stages of scale adventure. Featuring driving & driver challenges.

Cutthroat Classic Team Trial - Several gated & boundary defined courses that teams of 3 or 4 rigs must navigate. The team with the quickest overall time will win. Teams will get a time penalty for hitting gates and boundaries. A team may not progress the next gate until all team members are prepared to do so.
