It takes a church to raise a parent – seminar for ministry leaders
How can our churches create a culture where parenting for faith can flourish?
Rachel Turner, founder of Parenting for Faith, a UK based ministry, will share about the values and skills needed for ministry leaders to encourage parenting for faith in their own context; and to give the foundations needed to be ready to inspire, encourage, equip and walk alongside the parents and carers they serve.
The principles she shares have been refined through a lot of experience, tons of mistakes, gracious partnerships, and much trial and error. All of her stories are real stories of real parents, churches and leaders.
Rachel will also provide input about “Parenting as a Church Leader” and how we can spiritually parent our children while also leading in ministry. Drawing from extensive research, Rachel explores key issues and builds a set of simple tools and approaches to help church leaders and their families to flourish together.
There will also be time for Q&A and further conversation over light refreshments.
