Would you like to know what the ingredients of active learning are so you can plan meaningful experiences for the children you work with?

As Early Years practitioners the fact that children are active learners should be at the heart of everything we do. It is often assumed that people ‘just know’ what active learning really means. In this workshop we will consider the five ingredients of active learning and look at why it is so important that young children learn in an active way. We will also look at some strategies adults can use to support children’s active learning.
