Women have the talent, skills and capabilities needed to succeed in the workplace. So why are corporate boards still dominated by men? The 30% Club was founded in the UK in 2010 to address this lack of gender diversity on boards, with the goal of accelerating the progress towards better gender balance at senior leadership and board positions in organisations.

In 2015, the Malaysian chapter was launched by the Prime Minister – its purpose in line with our government's target under the 10th Malaysia Plan: to boost the number of women on boards to 30% by 2016. This target has been refined to 30% of women on Bursa Top 100 PLC boards by 2020. Though we've seen an increase of women in decision-making positions, there's still much to be done. How can we ensure more women continue to make it to board level?
