This is our first chapter meeting of 2019! A great chance to meet the new 2019 APIC Board, thank the 2018 Board, and learn about Ebola readiness in healthcare.
Educational Session: Ebola Readiness in Healthcare - Lessons learned from the Ebola situation in West Africa, updates on the 2018/19 Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and discuss how to ensure healthcare readiness. Our featured presenter worked in West Africa, providing nursing care to patients and will tell us about her experience and discuss lessons learned that can be applied in hospitals in the US.
