Public Speaking for Busy People

Public Speaking Essentials is a condensed introductory course that covers the core of our 11-week CLC1 Introduction to Public Speaking in only 4 sessions. Class size is limited to 10 students.

Key Content:

  • Quickly structuring a brief, memorable talk
  • Introducing yourself and others at an event
  • Giving and receiving a toast
  • The MC role, for all kinds of event
  • Evey student practises every skill in class, with personal coaching by our team of trained instructors. 

Tuition:

  • The amazingly affordable price is possible because Christopher Leadership Courses are presented by a non-profit registered charity.
  • Online payment is by Interac e-transfer from your bank account (preferred) or by credit card through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account.
  • Tax-deductible tuition receipt will be provided.

Fall 2017 Public Speaking Essentials:

  • Three Saturday morning classes Nov. 4, 11, 18 – 9:00 am to noon.
  • Two minutes of silence will be observed at 11 am on November 11.
  • Sunday Graduation Lunch (included, and required to graduate) Nov. 19  – noon to 2:30 pm.

Minimum age 15 or Grade 9. Graduates are eligible to take Advanced Presentations Course. 

If public speaking terrifies you, we recommend the full CLC1 course, whose more relaxed pace will help you build your confidence more effectively.
