Product Ownership

Product Ownership is a key role but is complex – it’s is a demanding role that requires multiple skills. This course covers the essentials that you'll need to be a digital product owner.

This course will concentrate on what product ownership is about and how to be a great one.

This course covers the essentials of being a digital product owner.

We won't talk to you about agile basics or generic team tools and techniques because this course is for people who already have that knowledge or people who have been on our agile thinking and practical agile courses.

This is a special power-up course for product owners or product managers or for those that need to understand the role in order to provide support and guidance.

This course will concentrate on what product ownership is about and how to be a great one.  We'll look at how to create a vision for your product, how to convey that and ensure the team work with you, within each iteration of your product, to achieve the goals that you expect to achieve.

We’ll help you to understand how to build, prioritise and manage the backlog of the product or service you need to build, and how to identify what will add value and have the most impact on the customer experience and the business.

We will discuss the importance of both good stakeholder and team communication and the need for some sales thinking when promoting your product and its benefits.

Location: The event will be held for 1 day in Sheffield (venue to be confirmed)

Timings: 10am to 5pm
