Word problems can often be confusing and frustrating for children. This workshop aims to teach your child a language-based strategy to break down word problems by recognizing the types of statements found within a given word problem, and how to systematically make use of the statements to form a mathematical model or make a plan that would help them make sense of the problem. Through the activities, we also hope to build students’ confidence in problem solving and to help them experience the joy of it.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 50% refund if 14 or more days notice is given pror to start of workshop
